Thomas FITZGERALD was born ca. 1773 in Ireland and was married first about 1793. He married second a lady named Isabella about 1833. Isabella was born in 1795 in Ireland and died in 1859 in Plumcreek Township, Armstrong County.

Thomas and his first wife had eight children, of whom I know the following: Stewart S. b. 1805, A female b. 1804-1810, Samuel S. b. 1811, William b. 1814, Eliza Jane b. 1815, A male b. 1820-25 and another male b. 1825-1830.

Thomas and Isabella had seven children as follows: Margaret b. 1826, Isabelle b. 1829, Thomas C. b. 1832, Martha Jane b. 1833, John R. b. 1834, Smith R. b. 1839 and Nancy Mariah b. 1840.

My ancestor line is from Samuel S. FITZGERALD b. 1811. Samuel married Emma HAZLETT ca. 1835. They had seven children, one of whom is William b. 1836.

William FITZGERALD was born 1836 and in 1860 married Mary J. "Polly" HOLLOWELL b. 1849. Mary was the daughter of Joseph HOLLOWELL and Margaret FLECK. Mary J. died 1907 in Vandergrift, Westmoreland Co., PA and is buried in Indiana Co. William died 1914 and is buried in Georgeville, South Mahoning Twp.

Mary died at the home of her daughter Jeanette BARR. Jeanette was the wife of George Marshall BARR. These are my great grandparents.
